Zaira Wasim is an Indian actress who gained recognition for her roles in Bollywood films. She was born on October 23, 2000, in Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir, India. Zaira made her acting debut in the 2016 film “Dangal,” where she portrayed the younger version of wrestler Geeta Phogat. The film was a critical and commercial success, and Zaira’s performance received widespread acclaim. She also appeared in the film “Secret Superstar” (2017), where she played the lead role of a young aspiring singer. Zaira announced her decision to quit acting in 2019, citing that it conflicted with her religious beliefs and faith. Despite stepping away from the film industry, she remains an influential figure and often expresses her thoughts and perspectives through social media platforms like Twitter.
