Where’s the Heart of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah? Former Sodhi, Gurucharan Singh, his father lodges a missing complaint

Breaking News: Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’s beloved former Sodhi, Gurucharan Singh, has mysteriously disappeared while traveling from Delhi to Mumbai. Despite efforts to locate him, neither has he reached his destination nor returned home. Eager to find answers, Gurucharan’s father has filed a missing complaint, a poignant plea captured in Hindi and shared exclusively with ETimes TV.

In a heartfelt plea, Gurucharan Singh’s father shares, ‘My son, aged 50, embarked on his journey to Mumbai on 22nd April at 8:30 am. Despite his plans to catch a flight from the airport, he never arrived in Mumbai. His absence, coupled with unreachable phone signals, has left us deeply worried. We’ve searched tirelessly, but now, he remains missing.’

Gurucharan Singh, known for his role as Roshan Singh Sodhi in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, made a difficult decision to leave the show to prioritize his family amidst his father’s health struggles. However, amid his departure, unresolved dues added to the turmoil, mirroring the challenges faced by other departing cast members. Amidst controversies, including a dispute with Jennifer Mistry, clarity on his outstanding dues eventually emerged.

In a recent revelation, Taarak Mehta actress Jennifer Mistry Bansiwal opened up about her challenging journey, highlighting her husband’s unwavering support amidst the turmoil. Reflecting on her sexual harassment case, Jennifer disclosed Gurucharan Singh’s role as a witness, initially offering assurance of support in court. However, a turn of events unfolded when pending dues were unexpectedly settled, prompting uncertainty regarding his stance. Despite this, Gurucharan expressed willingness to facilitate dialogue between Jennifer and Asit Modi, showcasing a desire for resolution amidst the controversy.

In the latest update, DCP South-west Rohit Meena issued an official statement regarding Gurucharan Singh’s disappearance. Confirming that Gurucharan’s family filed a complaint stating his departure for Mumbai on April 22 at 8:30 pm, Meena assured that the case is under thorough investigation. Employing various investigative methods, including CCTV footage analysis and technical examination, significant progress has been made. The case has been registered under Section 365 of the IPC, with initial efforts focused on tracing Gurucharan’s movements, with footage capturing him carrying a backpack.
